The Wheel Story House is the largest and oldest house built completely from trash in West Africa. Created by junk architect Sammy Mensah Ansah, this unusual home has 12 apartments made completely from trash.
The 45 minute tour gives background information on the builder, a discussion of waste in Accra, and a tour of the home; pictures are allowed!
Join the fun on the 20th.
We are also having a special story time at noon. Bring your child for the noon tour and let them learn about the Wheel Story House through a story complete with drumming. Please note that there are only 25 spaces for story time. Spaces are given on a first come, first served basis. Call in advance to reserve your space.
Don't miss this fun filled day at the largest and oldest house in West Africa made from trash! Come and see one man's treasure!
Please see the attached flyer for more details and rates.
