AccraPremium proudly hosted the latest Gourmet Cooking Club event at the Embassy of Japan here in Accra. The Gourmet Club is generously sponsored by Koala Shopping Centre and French dairy company Elle et Vire. Mrs Koko Nikai, spouse of the Ambassador of Japan to Ghana, Mr Naoto Nikai, was our gracious hostess. Embassy Chef Watanabe prepared 4 dishes ranging from Matcha Ice Cream to Bean Cake and Japanese Plantains. The most enjoyable part of the event came when the Gourmet Club members had the opportunity to roll their own sushi. All of the ingredients shown in the video can be found at Koala Shopping Centres. The excitement surrounding the Gourmet Club is very encouraging. In the coming months, AccraPremium has many more fantastic events in store! Using products purchased at Koala Shopping Centre, including Elle et Vire dairy products, Mrs Akiwumi prepared 2 gorgeous salads (Salad Nicoise and Mediterranean Salad) as well as a PassionFruit Cheesecake. The club members responded very favorably to the lesson and to the food prepared.
