Ask any Francophone music lover in Accra, where they can find the best party of the week, undoubtedly they will direct you to "French My Fridays" at the Kahuna Nightclub in Adabraka.
A recent survey showed this event to be by far the most popular weekly event in Accra Nightlife. If you love Soukous, Coupe Decale and know all the moves, or if you want to learn the moves, please be sure to make your way to Kahuna Night club. Tell them Melissa sent you.
On one day of each week, I awaken especially early and take a leisurely drive to Doboro (near Nsawam), to visit the Blue Skies Facility and to buy my week's supply of super fresh, super nutritious and super delicious fruit juices.
The health benefits of drinking freshly squeezed juice, namely
Also, I have had the privilege to tour the full Blue Skies plant and to see their operations up close. I learned more about their corporate culture. The level of professionalism, good hygiene and sense of camaraderie and mutual respect between all levels of co-workers was truly impressive. It makes enjoying their products and supporting their company even more fun.
You don't have to drive to Doboro to find Blue Skies products. Most good quality stores and the finer restaurants have them in stock. If you haven't tried Blue Skies yet, do so soon. You will be glad you did.

As a New York City girl, born and bred, few food items are as important to me as pizza. I regularly turn my nose up at the doughy, mass produced pies sold in chain establishments world wide. You see, we New Yorkers are accustomed to hand tossed pies with flavorful sauce and delicious toppings (pepperoni is a must for me).
In Accra, the best destination for a good pizza is unquestionably Mamma Mia Restaurant in Osu. In fact, as I sat waiting for my Pepperoni pies, I was fascinated at how good the plates coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled. The friendly proprietor Peter paid personal attention to all details to ensure that his customers and friends had a Premium experience.
